It’s encouraging that western medicine is studying the link between diet and health, both mental and physical. But this sentence shows how much farther we need to go before we see as living healthfully as the primary goal, and prescription drugs as a last resort, to be used sparingly. Even in a story titled “The Best Brain Foods You’re Not Eating”, the best they can do is say that eating for health should not be ignored, as a secondary benefit after meds.
